It’s that time of year again… time for the County Fair. All throughout the country in small-town venues and big-city spectacles, it’s time for people to show off their skills. Showing livestock and produce, displaying handmade quilts and crafts…it’s all part of the fun of the county fair.
Last year, at the Rock Island County Fair in our area, we were pleased to be able to help sponsor a contest aimed specifically at using Boetje’s Mustard in delicious recipes of all sorts. Winners included people who used Boetje’s stone-ground flavor in sauces and marinades for corned beef and cabbage, pork chops, tenderloins, and more. There were entries that used Boetje’s Dutch Mustard in salads and appetizers as well!
